Cryptic Pieces
This is a line of work in which I paint in situ,blending painted panels with the immediate surroundings. Each piece belongs to a unique spot in the landscape.
Potter Painter Poet
The collaboration with Paul Tebble, potter, and Elizabeth Burns (1957 - 2015), poet, started a few years ago culminating in A Potter, a Painter and a Poet at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015 - a huge and diverse exhibition. In March 2016 the StAnza International Poetry Festival hosted a second edition of the show in the Preservation Trust Museum in St. Andrews. A Potter, a Painter and a Poet catalogue book was published in March 2017 and includes a DVD of Sitar Rose's beautiful film of the collaboration. This is available to buy for £35
Drawings
Drawing is very important to me - it's an essential way to explore what I see and to work things out. But it's also a medium I use in its own right to portray a more finished representation. HB pencil is my preferred tool.
