This is one of a number of pictures I've done in which the snipe are weaving in the landscape of the Outer Isles; the colours of the hillsides, stones and lochs, the tweed of Harris, the lines of the peat cuts, the plumage of the bird - all these are shown in their drumming sound that permeates the landscape.
